Chef Turkey October was an exciting month at Ethos! We welcomed back our weekly Beer & Pizza Night and our monthly Pierogi Night. Two new lunch specials joined the menu: the Tofurkey Reuben on Monday, and the Italian Sandwich on Wednesday. Our new Breakfast Burrito successfully completed its menu test, and officially joined the Brunch menu. On the sweet side, our scrumptious Pumpkin Pie is on the menu through the end of November, and the first of our seasonal holiday cookies will join the bakery case later this month. Finally, we've got new beers from Highland Brewing and Fort Collins Brewery in rotation, and our new patio lights add a delightful glow to our patio after dark.

Thanksgiving is just around the corner - and to help you get in the cooking spirit, we invite you to attend our Vegan Thanksgiving Food Demonstration, where Chef Kelly will be sharing his tips and techniques for a flavorful vegan Thanksgiving.

Please note that we will be closed on Thanksgiving Day. However, that doesn't mean you'll miss out on Kelly's delicious Thanksgiving Tofurkey! Monday, November 22nd through Wednesday, November 24th, we'll be running a Thanksgiving Plate special - oven-roasted Tofurkey complete with Mashed Potatoes and Gravy, Vegetables, and our made-from-scratch Cranberry Sauce. Mmmmmm!

We will also have Take-Away Thanksgiving Meals and whole Pumpkin Pies available for purchase to complete your Thanksgiving table. Full details are below!

We are pleased to announce the gift certificate winners* for November: Carol Do has won a $25 gift certificate in the new subscriber drawing, and Rachel Wronowski has won a $10 gift certificate in the existing subscriber drawing. Adopt A Turkey
Adopt-A-Turkey
This year, we at Ethos "adopted" a Turkey for Thanksgiving, and you can, too! The annual Adopt-A-Turkey Project is a program of Farm Sanctuary, a non-profit that protects farm animals through rescue, education, and advocacy. Sponsoring a turkey costs just $30, and includes an adoption certificate with a full-color photo of your chosen bird. We picked Daphne, a serene looking young hen.

Pierogies!
Our November Pierogi Night will start at 6pm on Tuesday, November 16th; choose between four or six handmade pierogi and add a vegan Kielbasa for +$2.50, or sour cream for +50¢. We'll also be featuring a special $3 price on bottled beer.

We invite you to enjoy Beer & Pizza Night every Thursday from 6pm to close, when you can enjoy our special hand-tossed 18" vegan pizza By The Slice, ($3 for a cheese slice, plus 25¢ per topping) and a special $3 price on bottled beers! Stop on by and get a slice!

This month's charity is Ivanhoe Village Main Street, a non-profit whose mission is to revitalize the commercial district along North Orange Avenue and Virginia Drive.
