This month at Ethos we're celebrating two years in business! Our Grand Opening was January 18th, 2008, and this is an important milestone for our restaurant, as "they" say the first two years in the restaurant biz are the hardest! Thank you to our staff and all of our guests for your support of our restaurant - we couldn't be here without you! To celebrate, we'll be offering free Ethos birthday cookies to all guests on Saturday, January 30th. With your continued support, we hope to celebrate for many more years yet to come!
"How do you make vegan gravy?" That is one of the most frequently asked questions we hear from guests! If you have wondered that yourself, you might like to join Chef Kelly on our patio on Tuesday, January 26th, at 7pm for a free cooking demonstration - the topic will be Sauces and Gravies.
We are pleased to announce the gift certificate winners* for January: Militza has won a $25 gift certificate in the new subscriber drawing, and Whitney Laurien has won a $10 gift certificate in the existing subscriber drawing. January's Charity: Orange County Library System
January's charity is the Orange County Library System. Our local library system includes the Main Library Downtown, plus 14 area branches, and offers a variety of programs and services, including home delivery of library materials! Our library system is funded only partially by tax dollars, and donations help to support its operation. To have 10% of your Ethos check donated to the Library, simply print the 10% Day Flyer and present it on Saturday, January 16th when placing your order.

December's Toy Drive for BETA Center A Great Success!
Thank you to all who participated in our toy drive! We were able to donate nearly 50 gifts to the children and teens at BETA Center, which are sure to have brought additional joy to their holidays. Special thanks to Scott White and everybody at Inkredible Ink for your contribution to our collection box!
Pierogies!
Pierogi Night will start at 6pm on Tuesday, January 19th; choose between four or six handmade pierogi and add a vegan Kielbasa for +$2.50, or sour cream for +50¢. If you haven't tried them yet, now's your chance! Pierogies are a very satisfying winter meal.

New Logo Shirts a Hit
Our logo t-shirts are new and improved! They've always been sweatshop-free, but now the logo is printed by discharge with water-based colors, which provides a softer look and also improves the comfort and life of the tee. Our logo tees are printed locally by Enemy Ink. Pick one up in-store while supplies last!
Sunday Brunch with Laura Meyer
Musician Laura Meyer will be performing folk-rock originals on our patio from 11am to 2pm on Sunday, January 24th. Laura is touring to promote her latest release, Miles From Nowhere.
