Is it just me, or has 2009 sailed by a little more briskly than normal? The weather is cooling nicely, better late than never, and along with colder weather, holiday joy and madness will soon begin descending upon us all.
Next week, we'll send out our annual Holiday Guide, which will include information on Ethos' holiday schedule, catering options, and even gift ideas! We'll also let you know about the delicious food and bakery specials you can look forward throughout the month!
If you've already caught the Christmas spirit, you can kick off your holiday season this Saturday, December 5th, at our holiday themed December freecycle. Bring your unwanted decorations, tree trimmings, and other holiday supplies, and perhaps leave with something new! Non-holiday items are also welcome. »View Flyer

Holiday Freecycle
Join our December freecycle Saturday, December 5th, from 2pm to 6pm. Bring your unwanted holiday items (decorations, ornaments, craft supplies, etc.) and other unwanted stuff for freecycling on the patio. All easily portable items are welcome - no furniture, please! Co-hosted by the Black Manatee Collective.

Holiday Toy Drive!
Now through December 20th we will be collecting new or gently used toys during our toy drive for Christmas gifts for the children at BETA Center. The BETA Center provides a number of programs to assist families and children in need, with a special emphasis on single teen mothers and their children. Any item you can give will surely be loved and appreciated. Please do not wrap your toys! The BETA Center will match each toy with a child before wrapping. December's Charity: Victim Service Center of Orange County, Florida
This month's charity is the Victim Service Center of Orange County, Florida. The Victim Service Center provides free services to victims of crime and sexual assault, including crisis counseling, emotional support, medical attention for sexual assault victims. To have 10% of your Ethos check donated to the Victim Service Center, simply print the Event Flyer (.pdf) and present it on Saturday, December 12th when placing your order.

Pierogies!
Pierogi Night will start at 6pm on Tuesday, December 15th; choose between four or six handmade pierogi and add a vegan Kielbasa for +$2.50, or sour cream for +50¢. The perfect complement to our handmade pierogies is a cold, organic, local beer!
