Ivanhoe Village Freefall Festival Fall is here! And our fall calendar is chock full of great falltime events! Don't miss the Ivanhoe Village Free Fall festival this Saturday, October 10th, and mark your calendars for Veg Fest on Saturday, October 24th, and, most exciting of all, our annual Ethos Halloween Party on Saturday, October 31st!

And don't think we're letting fall slip by unnoticed here at the restaurant! We introduced Pumpkin Spice Pancakes as a new seasonal brunch special, and our delicious Pumpkin Pie will return to the dessert menu on October 12th. Starting next week, Kelly will be cooking up a different cool-weather dinner special every night of the week! Dishes like spaghetti & Meatballs, Tofu Marsala, Hungarian Goulash, and Jambalaya, to name a few. There will not be a schedule for the dinner specials, but, you are welcome to call ahead - 407-228-3898 - and ask what tonight's special will be.

As you know, we make nearly everything on our menu from scratch. And a lot of you have questions about how we do it! This month you are invited to join Chef Kelly at 7pm on Tuesday, October 27th, for a special cooking demonstration on our patio. More info on this event is below!

We are pleased to announce the gift certificate winners* for October: Mary Baran has won a $25 gift certificate in the new subscriber drawing, and Krista Berman has won a $10 gift certificate in the existing subscriber drawing. (Winners, check your email!) Congratulations to both, and thank you to all for your continued support of our establishment. (*Drawing rules are available online.)

Thank you for your interest, and we look forward to seeing you at the restaurant!

Sincerely,
Laina & Kelly Shockley
Owners, Ethos Vegan Kitchen

halloween Halloween is one of our favorite holidays! Aside from the fun of costumes, tricks, treats and harvest-time foods, it's one of the few ancient holidays to survive our modern times with its traditional interpretations intact.

We had so much fun at last year's Ethos Halloween Party, we've decided to do it again! This year's party will feature a costume contest, carved pumpkin contest, live music, games & prizes, fortune telling and more! Also new for this year, the decorations will include fog!!!

Chris Cucci of Post Records has picked out a great lineup of live music, including Jeff from Mumpsy, Dirty Dirt, Studebaker Hawk, Meneaters, and DJ Stranger.

So, get started on planning your costume and pumpkin face design, and we'll see if we recognize you on Halloween!
