Wow, can you believe we've been open now for a year and a half?! We're sure you remember celebrating our one-year birthday with us in January. We've designated August as our Customer Appreciation Month to celebrate you, our guests! Because, of course, we wouldn't still be here without your business and support. Thank you! Parking Update
In the past, we have directed guests to park in the public parking lot located on Alden Road. This land has been sold by the City of Orlando, and as a result, public use of this parking lot has been discontinued as of August 1st. Currently, the City has no plans to create new parking, however, we have been informed by the City that street parking is available for public use on Brookhaven Drive, which is located near the intersection of Virginia and Alden near the Lake Highland tennis courts.

Undoubtedly, parking on Brookhaven is inconvenient; however, if you can't find street parking in front on Orange, we encourage you to park on Brookhaven and walk, rather than risking a ticket or tow in a private lot! Adequate parking is vital to the survival of our small retail district. Expect to receive our call to action on this issue later this month.

Boy, were we surprised when we received a note from author Jason Cochran informing us that we'd been selected for inclusion in the latest edition of Pauline Frommer's Guide to Walt Disney World and Orlando! We were included in the "Dining Options Around Town" chapter. Yay, Ethos!

Pierogies! New: Now with sour cream!
Pierogi Night will start at 6pm on Tuesday, August 11th; choose between four or six handmade pierogi and add a vegan Kielbasa for +$2.50. New: add sour cream for +50¢! If you haven't tried our pierogies, you don't know what you're missing!

August's Charity: Superior Mutts Doggie Rescue
This month's charity is Superior Mutts Doggie Rescue, a dog rescue dedicated to finding homes for hard-to-place dogs. Founder Chris Murphy is an Ethos regular. August's VBBQ will be held Saturday, August 29th, 2pm-6pm. As usual, we'll be offering a delicious BBQ special, plus $3 drafts of cold, organic beer, and musical entertainment on the patio! "Shoe The Shoeless" Shoe Drive
All this month we will be collecting shoes for the homeless. Check your closets for any sturdy shoes you're ready to part with, and bring them in next time you visit! Shoes will be distributed to those in need by Golden Rule Donations.
