"Summertime.... and the livin' is easy..." Well, maybe this summer isn't as easy as some in recent memory, but it wasn't really so easy in Gershwin's Porgy and Bess, either! We know things are still tight, but, if the worst isn't yet behind us, at least it seems the adjustment period is over! "So hush, little baby, don't you cry..."
This weekend, we'll be open on Independence Day, Saturday, July 4th, from 11am-10pm. Our vegan kielbasa special will be available all day!
You may have noticed that we did a lot of menu testing in June. We're pleased to announce that some of our test items will be joining our regular menu in July! Calzones are now on the Light Bite menu, Coconut Curry Wrap has joined the Sandwich menu, and Canadian Bacon has been added to the Brunch menu. Pepperoni will be available every Thursday during Beer & Pizza Night, and our pressed Cuban Sandwich will be featured as the Monday lunch special starting Monday, July 13th.

Ever since our Cinco de Mayo celebration, we've been receiving a lot of requests for tacos. Well, good news, taco lovers! We'll be running a three-taco special all day each and every Wednesday! Join our first Taco-Waco Wednesday next week on Wednesday, July 8th. »view flyer

Freecycle Free-For-All
Join our July freecycle Saturday, July 11th, from 2pm to 6pm. This month is a "free for all" - bring any unwanted items you'd like to freecycle! Please limit yourself to items that are easily portable, and no furniture, please! Our freecycle is co-hosted by The Black Manatee Collective.

Pierogies! New: Now with sour cream!
Pierogi Night will start at 6pm on Tuesday, July 14th; choose between four or six handmade pierogi and add a vegan Kielbasa for +$2.50. New: add sour cream for +50¢! If you haven't tried our pierogies, you don't know what you're missing!

July's Charity: Rusted Chain Bike Collective
This month's charity is Rusted Chain Bike Collective, a local effort whose mission is to act as a resource for people to obtain or fix their bikes in a safe, non-discriminatory environment that stresses education. To have 10% of your Ethos check donated to Rusted Chain Bike Collective, simply print the Event Flyer (.pdf) and present it on Saturday, July 18th when placing your order.

Ethos vs Dandelion Kickball Game!
Come cheer us on in a friendly staff vs staff kickball game against Dandelion! We'll be playing Sunday, July 19th, at 5.30pm at Blue Jacket Park - the game is strictly for fun, but spectators are welcome! If you do come, don't forget to prepare for the Florida sun and heat - bring your own shade, and plenty of water! It's on, baby!!
Trivial Tuesday
Our first trivia night in June was a hit! For July we'll be adding a sixth round of questions, for 30 questions total, over 6 rounds of play. Hosted by Scotty Pizza, the evening will be complete with bonus points, penalty deductions, and fun prizes! Join our next Trivial Tuesday on Tuesday, July 21st - the fun starts at 6.30pm! Bring your team of four players, or, join a scrambler team.

VBBQ!
July's VBBQ will be held Saturday, July 25th, 2pm-6pm. As usual, we'll be offering a delicious BBQ special, plus $3 drafts of cold, organic beer, and musical entertainment on the patio! The music lineup is still in the works, but will be posted on our website upon finalization!
