Have you noticed? The last week of July, the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) installed a beautiful new bike corral in front of our restaurant! The bike corral came about as a compromise between losing the "view access" that has always been a no parking zone in front of our patio, and the need for improved utilization due to the significant loss of public parking in our neighborhood. Special thanks to the folks at FDOT5, especially Rick Morrow and his team, for their willingness to think outside the box, and also the City of Orlando and Ivanhoe Village Main Street for their coordination in bringing this project from blueprint to reality. While the bike corral is the first of its kind on a FDOT state road in all of Florida, we hope it's simply the first of many more projects to come that will improve and promote bicycle and pedestrian access throughout our state!

We were listed at #43 in the Top 100 Brunch Spots in America - making our showing as both the highest-ranked vegan restaurant and the only Orlando restaurant to make the list! Kelly and I created our Sunday Brunch partly out of tribute to our pre-restaurant days when our Sunday tradition was to sleep in, brew some fair-trade coffee and make a made-from-scratch vegan breakfast together - which would usually be ready to eat so late in the day it had to be classified as Brunch. We are thrilled that our Sunday Brunch has turned out to be so well-loved, and honored to receive national recognition. See the complete list of top brunch spots online at PoorTasteMag.com.
